Good article.

The last chart on how corporations are increasingly NOT paying taxes, is astonishing when put alongide the first chart here, which shows growth in corporate pretax profits since 1950:

"National income: Corporate profits before tax (without IVA and CCAdj) (A053RC1Q027SBEA)"

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/A053RC1Q027SBEA

If companes owned by the rich keep avoiding taxes, and the rich that own them, keep avoidiing taxes, well its no surprise the national debt is skyrocketing while the country's infrastructure is crumbling to bits.

US capitalism is eating itself and the country too.

This is what happens when voters don’t pay attention. They operate in a continual state of “road rage” believing that some group of individuals (the other) is somehow “getting over”, while they, who always play by the rules, are getting screwed. And so, they fall prey to the hateful and malicious propaganda that, over time, always works against them. (See Thomas Frank, “What’s the Matter with Kansas”.) Critical thinking is not a pervasive trait amongst the human species, and those who gravitate to running the shitshow know this to be true. And those folks are motivated by greed and corruption. Thus, it has ever been. It won’t last much longer: Anthropogenic climate disruption will soon begin to relevel the whole affair – a fitting coda for a failed species.

How should they have voted, Ed? Could they have voted their way out of this crisis of Capitalism, Ed?

There was only one candidate who spoke and advocated for a better world, and that was Jill Stein. And she got about 1% of the vote. It makes my point about “voters don’t pay attention”. It also makes my point about our corrupt political and economic system. It’s broken because of human behavior, so it won’t be fixed by humans. I expect that within the next 5 to 10 years the human race will wake up to the inexorable march of climate disruption… but it will be too late.

Interesting statistics; however, you don't calculate the basic stupidity of the American public. The data does point out quite well how Reagan truly hurt the middle and working class. That he did hasn't prevented every president that's followed him in perpetuating the fallacy of trickle-down economics or as George H W Bush sais, Voodoo economics

Oh, yes they are so stupid and you are just so uniquely smart and just, beautiful soul! You're a ridiculous misanthrope that hates the working class. The Dems churn out legions of you creeps. News flash: you aren't smart or special.

That commenter is perfectly within rights to point out that the US populace is making stupid choices.

As such your reply to him is basically illogical and and invitation to MORE stupid action: "shoot the messenger".

Stop it.

"Donald Trump's policies benefit wealthy elites at the expense of everyone else."

Ben, do you think Kamala would have been better? Was Biden better?

I'm seeing comments that certainly suggest so. Overshot critique on one man Trump is precisely the Dem play book. Any critique of Trump must highlight that the Dems are just as bad. Without that, you just play into the ruling class game, rooting for one of their two hard right, billionaire parties both merrily making war and genocide across the globe.

If Trump didn't exist, they'd just find someone else. A sober systemic analysis with less emphasis on personalities and "bad guys" is what is needed at this stage of the crisis.

There are more than two parties in most elections. This one too.

I appreciate your analysis but I decided to stop clicking on videos provided by a site which arms and sponsors Genocide.

March 18 go og le gave 32 billions to israel, on the 18 of march israel resumed its Genocide on Gaza.

Please upload your videos directly on Substack or on some alternative sites.

Meanwhile, here my analysis of the current situation.

yes, it's a real dilemma, I have this argument all the time about Youtube. I'm told, 'Yeah but look at all the great stuff, for free' but Youtube's de facto self-reinforcing monopoly was obvious from the getgo, back in the 1990s. I pointed out at the time, that once Youtube had a lock on the channel by virtue of the sheer volume of its content, pulling the plug on stuff it didn't approve of, would be simple. Ditto for Facebook and X and it's all come to pass. Effectively, we're addicted to these channels, withdrawal symptoms are the only way out.

Before You tu be became bought by go og le “or is it go ugly”, was a great site on which people could share ideas and informations, everything changed for the worst after go og le purchased it.

I also have been you to be partner and declined my partnership shortly after being made partner because they were censuring and removing lots of good channels which were exposing real facts “including technology”.

I finally dumped you tu be and go og le in 2011 after a great activist and friend of which’s channels I was moderating was killed, and his main you tu be channel disappeared.

I then completely stop using go og le in 2016 when they officially told the entire world that they were removing the rule “don’t be evil” from their code of conduct.

Using go og le is like voluntarily feeding the monster threatening you and your family.

You cannot stop a toxic fire from burning if you keep feeding it.

Anyhow this last 32 billions payed to Genocidaires to continue massacring more innocent Palestinians crosses for me all the red lines and my decision is final.

Ben is always publishing an article besides the video, so you can get the info there (reading is much better for your brain than watching videos).

From what I have observed, most people still search on YouTube because they don't even realize that alternative platforms exist (due to heavy censorship). Education is needed, if we want to stop genocidal corporations. Word must be spread as widely as possible.

If you don't want to support YT, stop searching on YT platform, i.e. stop going directly to YT web address.

This video is embeded with "no cookies" option. Rumble and other alt platforms do not offer no-cookies option.

Yes Tatjana I agree, but loading you tu be videos is also feeding the monster. I understand that many have become dependent on revenues coming from go ugly, and that many more are hypnotized and working there asses off in the hope to make it in the network and supposedly get millions, but the situation now demands that we all snap out from the hypnosis, and stop feeding that which in essence is killing us and is threatening the freedom and future of the generations to come .

You can post videos directly on Substack, which in my opinion would be the best solution.

About the fact that so far Substack has not allowed to directly link videos from other sites, perhaps someone should make a petition which we can all sign on, asking Substack to allow it.

Anyhow, yes the fact remains the same. The israeli regime got payed 32 billions by go ugly and the same day it gets the money resumes bombing Gaza.

Here some of the details https://thegrayzone.com/2025/03/20/google-imports-ex-israeli-spies-genocide/

Just saw your latest about tariffs. I agree it can't be stupidity of the deep state (BlackRock, hydrocarbons, tech, banking, intensive ag and pharma). They're all billionaires and part of the 1%. They must want less taxes.
