Ben all of your posts have been a great asset to the world but this one is all of that and much more. It's an economics lesson that should be read by every school child and university student in the world. Congratulations!

Thank you Ben Norton; A must read.

The world is recognising the 'bully.'

I don't think you mentioned 'tourism' which I assume has a huge part to play in the Economics of the USA.

Do: people want to go to the USA (the horrendous images of ICE) deporting people without justice is implanted in our brains.

Not only this: But do countries want to start Industries up in the USA when at any moment these 'foreigners' could be deported for: spying/not having the correct Visa requirements according to ICE etc..

As always, a mini college class in each article or video you do. Unbelievable value. I am hearing a lot of rumblings about a possible food insecurity situation in the US due to farmers going out of business and the withdrawal of the subsidies and other farmer supports. I would love your analysis on this or any sources you could direct us to on this topic. It is rather scary.

The photo you used to show how Trump has put more tax on poor ti middle income individuals is actually the chart of the results of TCJA expiration on 2026 by ITEP. I don't know how that help the subject but you haven't even talked about it. It confuses the readers on whether the 2018 TCJA has raised middle income taxes.

There may be more at play behind Trump’s chaos, what do you say about this analysis? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ts5wJ6OfzA&list=WL&index=71&pp=gAQBiAQB

I never realized that American consumers have been thinking for decades that they were being pillaged, taken for suckers and raped while buying inexpensive foreign made clothes, shoes, cars, appliances, computers, phones, furniture, drapes, carpets, sheets and everything in the kitchen.

Why did they buy them if they thought that? Especially since imports had nothing to do with the national debt…

WOW - the same tripe as regurgitated by the entrenched financial bureaucracy that has for 57 years lowered the living standards of the average USA worker . Give us more cheap consumer crap and tennis shoes while the USA worker makes lower wages and benefits while constantly adding to their debt load and taxes while the lazy corporatists sub your manufacturing out across the world to the lowest bidder - often slave like socialist/communist states of impoverishment . Seriously , the best you can quote is a "financial journalist " ... We manufacture state of the art products 100% in the USA and export a fair % to several countries and it's a constant hassle of regulations and quite simply idiotic bureaucratic incompetence [ you really wonder if they have any technical/scientific education] . TRUMP TRUMP TRUMP - it's so obvious the writer has TDS , this fundamental process has been the primary , usual and normal procedure for world economic activity for eons and now that the USA is finally saying let's rebalance it - We're Doomed - the entire World economy Will collapse or better yet ... the favorite - WAR ! Get real and get back to work or you'll soon [ if it's not too late ] be a debt slave forever -

Rex Tillerson, Trump first Secretary of State in his first administration, after getting to know Trump accurately described Trump as "A fucking morong." This, of course, is a slight on morongs.
